Michael Langiulli, MD, FACC, is a cardiologist at Willis-Knighton Cardiology in Ruston who provides a welcoming and supportive environment for patients with many heart conditions. His areas of expertise include general cardiology where he treats the whole person, and interventional cardiology where he performs diagnostic tests and treatment procedures. As a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology, Dr. Langiulli keeps up with rapidly changing cardiology research and provides the most advanced treatments for his patients. He thinks highly of medical technology advancements in recent years that provide effective, minimally invasive treatments for many heart conditions.
Following his undergraduate education at NYU in New York City, Dr. Langiulli completed his medical education at SUNY Health Sciences Center in Brooklyn. His medical training was an internal medicine residency, including a year as chief resident, and fellowships in general cardiology and interventional cardiology at Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, New York. He practiced cardiology at clinics in New York before he began solo practice in Ruston, Louisiana.
Dr. Langiulli is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is certified in nuclear cardiology (Council for Certification in Cardiovascular Imaging) and he is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC).
Away from the clinic, Dr. Langiulli enjoys soccer, traveling, and spending time with his family.
Dr. Langiulli is married and has two children.
